Meet the Founder
Andreas Pour is a seasoned corporate/transactional attorney and trusted advisor to individual and corporate clients. Andreas has handled hundreds of transactions in his distinguished legal career, primarily involving such matters as:
- securities financing and compliance
- M&A
- credit agreements and other business contracts
- intellectual property and technology
- corporate governance
Andreas prides himself in providing realistic and grounded guidance while navigating complex legal issues to assist his clients in achieving their goals efficiently.
Education
Andreas earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, with a focus on computer architecture.
He graduated magna cum laude and as valedictorian from the University of Michigan Law School in 1993, where he also served on the Michigan Law Review.

- State of New York – admitted in 1995 (currently inactive)
Professional Experience
After law school, Andreas clerked for the Honorable Edward R. Becker on the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Thereafter he joined Sullivan & Cromwell in New York City, where he practiced primarily in the general corporate practice and banking groups. After spending a few years dedicated to founding and operating a SAAS business, Andreas returned to the practice of law at Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton in San Diego, where he focused on securities, M&A, technology licensing and business contracts for approximately ten years.
Andreas also practiced as a sole practitioner for approximately ten years prior to founding AP Law in 2025.
